Feeling the pinch of the Great Recession? This group will explore relatively painless, entirely painless, or even fun, ways to economize and live more frugally. Here are some ideas for possible group discussion topics and activities: learning to expand our "do it yourself" skills (home maintenance projects, sewing, gardening, etc.), finding grocery and other shopping bargains, considering barter arrangements and sharing personal favorite cost-cutting strategies that others might like to try.
